1959, Andreas Yiangou, a young dynamic individual founded his own private company in Famagusta. Main activities included trading of heavy and light duty machinery, hire of cranes and general trade of spare parts and equipment.

Andreas Yiangou Ltd saw an impressive expansion and by 1974 it became one of the key players in the economic activity of the city of Famagusta. In 1974, the Turkish invasion in Cyprus forced the founder and most of the employees of the company to expatriate to the city of Limassol. As a result the company re-started its operation in 1974 from scratch.

Being passionate with their job and very well connected within
Cyprus, Middle East and Europe Andreas Yiangou and his management team continued the operation of the company in Limassol.

Since 1981, Andreas Yiangou Ltd is located at its private premises outside the port of Limassol.
